After my examination
in 1989 I had no opportunity to work as a teacher.
Instead, I joined
an IT company (since 2000: secunet), and
program- ming became a part of my profession. I got involved in
Unix, which was love at
first sight. Nowadays I'm
programming Unix Shell,
Perl and (rarely) Java and C.
